Mars Venus Coaching Graduates 11 in latest Induction Training Class

july-2010-training-group-pictureMars Venus Coaching held its latest Induction Training Class this month in Las Vegas, Nevada. With this class the total number of countries represented by Mars Venus Coaches is now 19. Joining the graduation exercises were Dr. John Gray, our brand founder; Scott Lippitt, Director of Marketing; and Rich Bernstein, Global President/CEO. The training class consisted of an interesting blend of Life and Business Coaches representing the United States, Canada, Netherlands, Jordan, Egypt and Australia.

This class included two very important Strategic Coaching Alliances for Mars Venus Coaching. Eric Cole of EDC Business Strategies, Inc. based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada will concentrate on establishing corporate accounts. Eric has had 30 years experience in the Business Consulting Profession, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions and VC funding.

The second Mars Venus Coaching Strategic Alliance is with Wim and Karlijn Vrolijk in the Netherlands. Wim and Karlijn of Enjoy Performance are based in the Amsterdam area of Holland and will focus on building corporate training accounts. Wim has had 30 years experience in the Corporate Training Profession.

“Both of these alliances will prove to be a very important building block in regards to developing the Mars Venus Executive Coaching and Training portion of our company. This is also a great step towards opening more markets globally and exposing more cultures to the Mars Venus Coaching/Gender Intelligence message,” said Rich Bernstein, President and CEO.

Mars Venus Coaching also welcomes their first Life Coaching Licensees. Yvonne Allen and Toni Culph will be expanding our presence in Melbourne, Australia. Yvonne has had 30 years of experience in relationship consulting and hopes to use those skills to help others in their relationships. Toni will be working closely with Yvonne to develop their territory.

Mars Venus Coaching also welcomes Stephen Hopley who will be a Master Franchisee in Sydney, Australia. Stephen has been coaching and consulting for over 25 year and he brings this experience to the table.

The July training class also added two new Mars Venus Coach Franchisees in the Middle East. Khaled Sharaf is located in Jordan. Yasser Shaker is our first coach in Egypt.

Mars Venus Coaching has also open Utah. Darrin Clarke is a franchisee in Ogden, Utah. Darrin comes to Mars Venus Coaching with a Dale Carnegie background. He will launch the Mars Venus Coaching concepts in his market.

Resurrecting Old Leads

Leads, all businesses rely on leads. Whether the leads are collected by the business or a third party, they are an integral part to all sales. More often than not I have come to realize that a large portion of leads initially showed interest in my services, but for some reason failed to complete the sales process and become a client.

Once you have developed a sizeable leads database it is very important to re-approach these people on a regular basis. Sometimes it’s only about timing, is this the right time for your product or service?  In many cases a lead that shows strong interest in your product or services may fall out of the sales process prematurely. The reasons are often very simple and easy to overcome by just a little effort on your part. Many times people may miss a phone appointment with you and then feel embarrassed about contacting you because of it. You can remove the embarrassment factor by simply placing a phone call to them and by showing them two things; a genuine concern for them and a willingness to move forward with the process regardless of any past issues. Reconnecting with this lead can most definitely lead to a sale.

Another aspect that often hinders leads from moving forward in a process is the sudden onset of a major life issue. Sometimes they will communicate this with you and sometimes they won’t. These leads may need time to settle their issues. By placing a phone call or sending an email a month later to check on their progress is a great way to reconnect. Often I have been told by people that they were too busy to think about it at that time, but they are still very interested and glad that I contacted them, timing is everything.

New leads are also a very important part of any sales process, but many business people over look the potential of the leads they have already collected. In my experience I have found that by reconnecting with leads from the past, I have had a .2% recovery rate, a better rate than with most direct mail campaigns. Here are five key steps to reconnecting with past leads in order to make the sale.

  • Keep a database to track your leads
  • Take proficient notes about the lead
  • Develop a system for following up with all prior leads regularly
  • In your follow up remind them of the offer
  • Add a personal touch to your follow up, something that you previously discussed (child off to college, spouse starting new job)
